When the surface book released, I loved it. every now and then I used to visit the Microsoft site, configure it and see any offer. 2500$ was a huge amount. later I thought I should try the refurbished one, so ordered Surface book (1st generation )i7 version. I was excited and eagerly waiting for it. After receiving it, here are my thoughts 1) it was well built 2) pen was superb 3) battery backup was good (around 7 to 8 hrs.) 4) detachable screen 5) windows hello (I loved it) 6) screen resolution etc.... I used for 2 weeks, only issue I was having, screen cannot be pushed back, I think max 120 degree. I was feeling uncomfortable with it. either I should detach the screen and work in tablet mode or reverse the screen from the hinge. for watching movie it is good but for working I felt it was difficult. I tried adjusting for a week, but I was not able to convince myself 😞 so decided to go ahead and return it back. May be next time...... ...
